Some where demonstrations or boycotts and helped lead to different goals of the Civil Rights being accomplished. For example the Montgomery Bus Boycott caused buses to become desegregated, which was one step closer to getting rid of segregation all together. Also the Little Rock Crisis shows how even after places like schools were desegregated by law African Americans still had to go through much turmoil and harassment. This map also shows a event that was a disadvantage to the Civil Rights movement, the creation of the Jim Crow Laws.
